Account Deletion
This page explains how an account holder may request deletion and which records may need to remain to protect other users, evidence integrity, and legal obligations.

01How to request deletion
Send a request from the email or phone connected to your account to ratematecompany@gmail.com. If you cannot access that contact method, identity verification will be required.
02Verification and organization ownership
RateMate verifies every request before changing access. A sole organization owner must transfer ownership or complete an assisted organization closure first.
03What deletion changes
Approved deletion revokes active sessions and removes or anonymizes direct profile and contact information where legally and technically permitted.
04Records that may remain
Ratings, immutable revisions, Visit evidence, reputation snapshots, finalized reports, fraud-prevention records, security records, and audit evidence may be retained when required for legal compliance, disputes, security, or the integrity of records belonging to others.
05Response time
The acknowledgement and completion periods will be governed by applicable law and the final policy effective on 2026-08-05.
